Maximising Your Home: 2026 SEAI Window & Door Grants
Stop losing heat through old windows. While there isn’t a standalone “door-only” grant, significant savings are available as part of a wider energy upgrade this year.
1. 2026 Grant Amounts
You can claim now for up to two external doors in addition to windows
2. Eligibility & Rules
- Property Age: Built and occupied before 2011.
- Fabric First: Your attic and walls must already be well-insulated (or upgraded now) to meet a Heat Loss Indicator (HLI) of 2.3 or better.
- Technical Standard: Replacements must have a U-value of 1.4 W/m²K or better.
- Contractors: Must be SEAI-registered. Search Registered Contractors here.
